WOC 2010 Middle
Below is provided an overview of the TV footage from WOC 2010 Middle. The mens broadcast is used in the analysis.
Summary
Good broadcast. Mostly very good use of GPS tracking - combining TV footage with GPS tracking to get good interplay between the two. Uses many different types of GPS tracking scenes - might be too complicated for viewer? Should maybe standarize on certain types of GPS tracking scene types?
TV control positions
Worked well
- GPS tracking
- Story-telling (last part with fight for gold between Öberg and Kaas and Gueorgiou in the mix)
Did not work well
- Graphics mostly worked well - time stopped etc.
Lessons to be learned
- TBD
